Description: Original 1931 edition, apparent first printing (no indication of additional printings). Rated only "good" condition primarily due to crayon coloring of illustrations on title page, table of contents, page 1, page 2. This is a green hardcover with front cover illustrated with paper paste-on with Mickey walking in the spotlight on a stage, David McKay, 190pp. Paper paste-on has slight wear but still quite attractive; about 3/4 of back edge of spine worn through, spine moderately foxed, upper and lower of edge of spine slightly worn through, back cover has a couple of small water spots, small bump in upper edge of rear cover; binding tight and square, endpapers slightly tanned. The covers shows various degrees of creasing, wear & rubbing to cover margins, edges, corners; name erased from the title-page, small Mickey figure on the inner back cover shows coloring, some penciling, stains, tanning to the pages.

Description: Very rare first edition first printing of this 1931 Disney book, "The Adventures of Mickey Mouse" Book I. Published by David McKay Company (Philadelphia). Appears to have some very faint pencil writing that has been erased on title page. Barely discernible. No dust jacket but this highly collectible book is in VERY GOOD condition and fully intact. Pages are printed on a thick 'cardboard' like paper which has probably contributed to the good archival quality of this book. Figural end papers and on the front end papers there is a small crack starting to expose the binding. Great item for the Disney lover and collector. (BR) Box 305
