Description: Hardcover. One of 800 copies of the regular edition. There were also 100 copies of the deluxe edition. The annual editions of Matrix were some of the foremost publications on the book arts during its 36 year existence. Sadly, Matrix 36, published in 2020, was the last annual edition of the Matrix series. After 36 years, Whittington Press owners, John and Rose Randle, decided to discontinue producing this fine annual for printers and bibliophiles on the book arts that compiled articles, illustrations, paper and typography samples and book reviews. This issue includes a number of articles by such well-known bibliophiles and book artists as Robert Gibbings, John Dreyfus, John Bidwell, Sebastian Carter, and Roderick Cave. Interspersed throughout are photographs, printing samples, and illustrations. Bound in green stiff paper covers. Letterpress printed in Monotype Caslon and printed on Sommerville Laid and Zerkall papers. In fine condition. Measures 8 x 11 inches. BOB/102821.
