The annual publication of Matrix was one of the foremost publications on the book arts during its 36 year existence. Sadly, Matrix 36, published in 2020, was the last annual edition of the Matrix series. After 36 years, Whittington Press owners, John and Rose Randle, decided to discontinue producing this fine annual for printers and bibliophiles on the book arts that compiled articles, illustrations, paper and typography samples and book reviews. This issue includes a number of articles by such well-known bibliophiles as Ruari McLean, John Dreyfus, Sebastian Carter, David Butcher, William Peterson, and Roderick Cave. Interspersed throughout are photographs, printing samples, and illustrations. Bound in light mauve stiff paper covers.
