Description: 13th printing of the first edition issued in 1961, near fine decorative cloth hardcover shows bumping to spine tail and bottom corners, tiny bump and wrinkle to bottom corner of first few pages and some other light trace wear, in very good + price-clipped dust jacket that shows a touch of soil, wrinkle at spine head and edgewear that includes tiny tears and chips and inch long closed tear at bottom corner of front panel. 684 pages followed by 32 page index and with illustrations by Sidonie Coryn. Still an attractive copy of this early printing of the classic work.
