Profusely illustrated with b&w photos, also a small section of color plates. -- Top and bottom edges of covers and spine shows a bit of fading with some very faint shadowing on the front endpapers as from a newspaper clipping; iOtherwise the inside taxt and photos a bright and clean, and the book itself is tight. -- Price-clipped DJ Very lightly faded; some moderate edgewear here and there. But generally bright and protected in clear plastic. -- 165 pp. This would be a very nice gift for a collector or folk art enthusiast. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Tall -- Oblong

Limited to 55 numbered (#28) and signed copies. Bound by William Zahrndt & Sons Bindery. With chapters on noted Vineyard carvers such as Frank Adams, Keyes Chadwick, William Dugan, Robert Jackson, Hiram Crowell, James Look, Winthrop Norton, Alton Tuckerman, as well as many unknown decoy makers. Plus a chapter on shorebird carvers. The book is in near-fine condition with the slipcase showing some uneven sunning.
