Moderate wear to edges, a couple of faint smudges, slight toning to inner margins, contents are otherwise clean, binding is sound. "Horace Mann Kindergarten" neatly written on front pastedown is only ex- library evidence. Verses and wonderful illustrations throughout. Engraved and printed by Edmund Evans, Ltd.

Presentation from former owner on front end paper includes the date "1917". Wear and chipping along the edges and corners. Frayed extremities. Threading on spine. Darkening inside covers and on end papers. Slight soil and browning on pages. Surface chip 3/8th inch and light scratching on front cover. 2 inch light cracking at top of back cover and light scratching. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall

Description: Illustrated covers exhibit heavy wear and chipping on corners, edges and spine ends. Green cloth spine with black lettering is in very good condition. Moderate shelf wear and soiling to covers. For being a children's book of this age it is in very good condition. Hinges are tight. Text is clean and unmarked. Very nice color illustrations. My personal favorite was the poem When We Went Out With Grandmamma. The drawing was very cute. All of our books are individually inspected and described. Never ex-lib unless explicitly described as such.
