Description: First edition, 1885. Undated. Hardback. 4to. 60pp. Maroon backstrip over decorated boards. All edges tinted yellow. Illustrations and rhymes by Kate Greenaway. Printed by Edmund Evans. Book in good condition. This is an ex reference library book and has a printed book plate of Newport Public Libraries to front paste down. There is also a very small library sticker to rear free end paper and some small blind stamps here and there. Boards generally rubbed and soiled. Edges and corners showing some wear. Some slight cockling to paper of lower board. A little cracking at gutter but all pages firmly bound. Occasional light marking/soiling.
