Description: Never bound sheets, folded and gathered into three signatures, small 4to., (43) pages, illustrated with 15 full-page wood engravings + vignette and cover engraving. One of 200 copies printed on an Albion Press by Simon Lawrence from Blado Italic type on dampened Velin Arches Creme paper. Wells was a true apprentice of Leon Underwood and devoted to him. This selection features the series "The Twelve Days of Christmas", her last major project. A fine, complete copy of the unbound sheets, enclosed in a board portfolio covered with Italian decorated paper and spine labels.

Description: One of an edition limited to 200 copies, of which 170 were bound in yellow cloth over boards and 30 in quarter leather (with an additional loose print signed by the artist), printed by hand on an Albion Press, on dampened Arches paper and bound by Smith Settle. Printed title label to spine and a woodcut in recess to the front board. Quarto, 22 leaves with 15 wood engravings including depiction of The Twelve Days of Christmas. Now with a custom-built slipcase by Christopher Shaw. A book in Fine condition.
