Description: Quarto. 12.5" x 9" Unpaginated. A classic childrens book, second printing. A very good book, bumped at the head and foot of the spine. The dust jacket is sadly, poor with a 1.5" tear along the front spine and .75" at the back top spine. Bottom of the spine is missing a 2.25" piece and has a tear about 7" long across the front that has been repaired with tape. from the top of the missing piece on the spine there is another 2.75" tear that then heads to the back of the jacket for another 3" inches and has been repaired with tape. The back of the jacket has a 2.5" tear, again repair with tape. Both the front and back of the jacket have tears at the lower outside edge, repaired with tape. With so much wrong with the jacket it is important to note that the interior is bright and colorful.

Dust Jacket shows some wear including a large chip to the bottom outer corner of the front cover. Book shows light shelfwear and signs of use, but is otherwise in good condition. Interior pages are clean with no writing or similar marks. Binding sound. RARE!
