He shared many ideas with radical writers of the time. He influenced authors such as William Godwin, but also gave critical and moral support to Samuel Taylor Coleridge and William Wordsworth. Critical review of his work shows Dyer to have been an important model for Wordsworth and Coleridge in the way he brought politics to bear on the poetry of nature and imagination. This is an early Longman imprint, carrying the initials of T. N. (Thomas Norton) Longman, the founder's son. In 1800 he purchased the copyright of Southey's Joan of Arc and Wordsworth's first work, Lyrical Ballads from Joseph Cottle of Bristol. He published the works of England's Romantic poets, including Wordsworth, Coleridge, and Southey. Ships from Dinkytown in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
