Several pages have water stains at back of book. Weak hinges. One loose page, picture of Vilate Kimball. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

Description: 520pp. Octavo [24 cm] 3/4 black leather with black pebbled cloth covered boards. Title gilt stamped on the front board and backstrip. The extremities are rubbed, and the spine is heavily rolled. There is a small chip to the surface of the backstrip, obscuring a bit of the title. In addition, a little bit of the gilt title on the front cover has been rubbed away. There is a contemporary owner's name and brief notation on the front flyleaf. The illustrations are lightly offset on the surrounding pages. Frontispieces Heber C. Kimball and his wife Vilate are present. The Joseph and Hyrum Smith portraits are also present at the center. Biography of the Mormon leader by his grandson. Flake/Draper 9772.

Description: 520pp. Octavo [24 cm] 3/4 leather over dark pebbled boards. Title gilt stamped on front board and backstrip. The extremities are gently rubbed, the spine is moderately faded, and there is a subtle stain on the lower half of the spine, and on the surrounding areas of the boards. There is also a small chip to the surface of the backstrip, obscuring a bit of the title. There are a handful of minor stains on the rear cover. The front free endsheet has a short contemporary notation in pencil. Frontispieces Heber C. Kimball and his wife Vilate are present with tissue, and in nice condition. The Joseph Smith, Hyrum Smith and Brigham Young portraits are also present at the center. Biography of the Mormon leader by his grandson. Flake/Draper 9772.
