This is One of 500 numbered copies printed for England and America and the type distributed. Frontispiece, Editors Note, Letters (numbered I-CXCVIi.e., 1-196), Notes; 133 pages plus [1] and colophon. Original, polished, bevel-edged, café-au-lait-colored buckram is in excellent shape: On the lower board there is one dime-sized spot and an almost-bump to the bottom edge. The lettering on the spine is a bright copper color, with gilt phoenix (or Quetzalcoatl) on upper board. The printed, unclipped dustjacket is very good, with a lightly sunned spine and one small closed tear at the head. [Please see images of actual book.] The top edge of textblock is colored brown, matching the cloth. The interior laid paper is pristine. This is a particularly lovely copy. As with every book from my father's collection, tipped in at the front is the small, attractive, acid-free bookplate pictured on my homepage.
