Description: Bound in brown stiff card with Yapp edges and green spine, this 1928 softcover First Edition is VG. Size is 13" x 10". Embossed and colour decorated front panel: town crest incorporating lighthouse, sailing ship and crown. XV1/104pp with illustrations as follows: Three tipped in by Cecil Aldin, Three by Lee Hankey, and others by Rene Vincent, Marcel Hemjic and Andre Foy. Large collection of twenties style deco adverts, in colour and B/W, reviewing the Le Touquet life style. Articles illustrated with photos, on Golf, Hunting, Tennis, Racing, Horse Riding, Polo etc. Some text in English, mostly in French. Condition as follows; spine is rubbed at edges, and at top/tail: yapp edges slightly worn/rubbed with 2cm closed tear to top edge and indistinct vertical crease to front panel close fore-edge. Coffee stain to bottom of front panel (4cm x3cm). Also, three small brown stains and one white to front wrap. Clear tape applied to 3" close tear on page 22; now removed leaving brown marks to blank margin. Light foxing to blank areas of page one. Neat inscription to FFEP. Otherwise VG (see photos)
