The end papers are toned, there is light scattered foxing on the interior pages and edges, The top edge dye has faded. A small book sellers sticker affixed to the lower left corner of the rear paste down and pencil writing at the top left corner. The dust jacket is torn, shows paper loss, toned, soiled, chipped and the upper left corner of the rear flap is clipped. However, the dark green cloth board covers and the gilt lettering on the spine are bright and clean.The dust jacket is currently protected by a clear removable cover.
