Description: A 1972 printing of the copyrighted Editions du Cerf, Paris 1955. A VG to NF hardcover, French-language, Holy Bible featuring full-page color illustrations by Salvadore Dali. Tender but holding hinges; starter before the rear free end paper. The lower corner tips near the beginning have a light crease and the remaining pages have a sort of wavy appearance. The contents (XVI + 1458 pp. + color plates), with ALL TEXT IN FRENCH, appear clean, complete, and securely bound. Gold linen with black and red lettering/decoration. Bumped lower corner to the upper board; rounded spine head and tail edges. Includes a clear plastic dust jacket that has a one-inch top edge tear in the front.
