From the collection of the London print dealer William Weston with a card from the Galerie des Peintres Graveurs addressed to him with annotations; two original photographs of works by Braque and a signed typed l;etter from Weston to Yves Lebouc of the Bouquinerie de L'Institut, questioning the authenticity of a work by Braque with his autograph reply.

Rotes kartonartiges Cover, weisse Antiqua-Präge-Titelei; untere Cover-Hälfte montiertes original schwarz-weiss Foto 9,3x7,3cm, Motiv: liegende, mit Oberkörper angelehnte, hölzerne und gesichtslose Gliederpuppe (wie sie Malern und Bildhauern als Vorlage für naturalistische, anatomisch korrekte Darstellungsweise des menschlichen Körpers dient), deren rechter Arm auf einer großen hellen Kugel ruht; links von ihr ein gleichgroßes Dreieck. Der wohl gleichfalls aus hölzernen Elementen bestehende Bildhintergrund ist aufnahmebedingt oder bewußt unscharf gehalten. Links unten ist das Foto klein, aber klar lesbar signiert "Man Ray 1926". Offenkundig handelt es sich hier um den (verkleinerten?) Abzug eines historischen orig. Fotos von Man Ray aus dem Jahre 1926. Der Broschur selbst enthält französische Texte, mit einer Schreibmaschine erstellt, auf büttenartigem, waagerecht gerippten Papier mit senkrechten Linienwasserzeichen sowie einem großen 3-Buchstaben-Monogramm des Papierherstellers. Neben dem Titelblatt sind 2 Blatt Preface/Vorwort und 16 Blatt Text enthalten; die Blätter sind nur vorderseitig beschriftet. Seltene Ausgabe der frz. Nationalbibliothek über den legendären Künstler Man Ray mit interessantem Foto. Aufgrund der Ausführung wohl nur in einer winzigen Auflage erstellt. Rarität!
