Description: FIRST EDITION, pp. 42, crown 8vo, original blue boards printed in black to upper board and backstrip, with the exception of lower board largely faded with a little wear at extremities, faint shelfmark at foot of backstrip (see below), the front endpapers with the ownership inscription of Dorothy Elmhirst and the stamp of Dartington Hall (see below), good. An interesting association copy, being that of Dorothy Elmhirst of Dartington Hall - she née Whitney and the daughter of US statesman William Collins Whitney. (Woolmer 207)
