Description: For sale is a review copy, review slips laid in, of Sue Grafton's first book. It has the First Printing statement on the copyright page. The boards are covered in a bright red cloth and have gilt lettering on the spine. The book is clean and bright internally, has a top blue dyed edge, and sharp corners. The spine ends are a bit soft. The dust jacket has a small, one inch, tear at the top edge and a knick on the front panel where white shows through, otherwise the dust jacket's colors and condition are bright and clean and without damage. The dust jacket is currently protected by a clear removable cover. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions about this item prior to making a purchase, thank you. Ps. I just noticed that the camera picked-up coloring to the back cover photo-purplish-that can not be seen with the naked eye. Also note the occupation of the author on the press release.

Some rubbing along the upper page edge. There are three places in the book where there is what appears to be ink spray to one page and also to the page opposite. It is light in color and I did not notice it at first. I am quite certain this is a printers error. This is likely the reason it was removed to the Display Dept. It is otherwise quite a nice copy.
