George Orwell. Keep The Appidistra Flying. Harcourt Brace And Company, 1956.

Price: US$75.00 + shipping

Condition: Good

Description: ISBN . Hardback. First American Edition as stated on the copyright page. Book is a tight sound copy but appears to have once been an ex-rental library copy. This means it has a bit of glue residue on the back free endpaper where a card pocket once was, now removed, but has none of the other usual ex-library markings, there are no ink stamps and such, just a few smal llight yellow tape ghosts to the endpapers. Ex-rental books often had a black tar edged clear dustjacket protector and this has left slight black residue on the tiop and bottom edges of the covers and endpapers, but this is slight and not that noticeable overall. Otherwise book is a very nice Tight sound unmarked copy in Very Good condition with Slight browning to the edges of the interior pages. Previous owner was a smoker and there is a smoky odor to the book. Dustjacket is nice and in Very Good condition with just some slight edgewear and a slight bit of yellow ghosting to the top of the spine area where it looks like a very small piece of tape once was affixed and has since fallen off on its own. $3.75 original price is still present and unclipped on the front dustjacket flap. We have placed the dustjacket in a Brodart clear plastic protective cover and it looks much better than described. Book has its flaws, but is still a very presentable copy in dustjacket.
