Description: 163 pages. Moisture stain at foot of spine, wrapping around and affecting just a little of the spine cover of top and bottom boards. Light rubbing on edges. Volume is otherwise tight and clean. Dust jacket shows scattered small tears, with one partially affecting the L in publishers name over foot of spine. All other lettering remains good. Jacket is also a little faded over spine. Dust jacket remains clean and is now protected in a clear mylar sleeve.

Description: 12mo. One quarter white cloth with blue printed paper over boards; black decoration to the spine. Spine has two small stains and a little wear to the head and heel. There is a bit of staining to the inner front hinge. Preious owner's bookplate to the lower front pastedown. The upper front endpage has been inscribed by editor Albert Wardell, who was the most significant editor of Hearn's work posthumously.

Description: 163pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Ivory white cloth spine with blue paper covered boards, and black ink stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Very good. There is a small abraded patch in the paper of the rear board. The cloth on the spine is a bit age-toned, and the top edge of the text block is very slightly soiled. The underlying boards are just barely peeking through at the bottom corners of the covers. Lafcadio Hearn is most famous for his books about Japan, particularly his collections of Japanese legends and ghost stories.
