A selection of Julia Child's French recipes for special occasions. I particularly liked her 'Sunday Night Supper' reciipes. Julia Carolyn Child (1912-2004), was an American chef, author, and television personality. She is recognized for bringing French cuisine to the American public with her debut cookbook 'Mastering the Art of French Cooking' and her subsequent television programmes, the most notable of which was 'The French Chef', which premiered in 1963. The difficult birth of her cookbook was documented in the 2009 film 'Julie and Julia' by Nora Ephron and starring Amy Adams, Stanley Tucci and Meryl Streep. Quite a scarce book in the UK.
