The top edge is gilt. The binding is lightly bumped & rubbed. The spine is faded with the head lightly chipped & a stain to the mid-section. There is a small area of staining to the rear cover. Title, [2] leaves, 83 & [1] pages. Illustrated with 4 black-and-white plates by W. T. Smedley, including a frontispiece. The book is lightly cracked at page 56 with a blue stain to the inner margins. The bottom margins of 2 pages are very lightly stained. Very good. First separate edition, first binding.
