Letters housed in box decorated with birds. Untrimmed. Famed naturalist and artist, Audubon (1785-1851) wrote the Journals as he traveled the Mississippi River to New Orleans. He wrote the Letters while traveling America and obtaininmg subscriptions for his Birds of America.
