Inscribed by Everson on the half title page and signed by Tom Killion, Adrian Wilson, and Everson on the colophon page. This is copy 200 out of 226 that were printed at The Press in San Francisco. Quarter blue leather boards with a leather inlay over the linen boards. Gilt lettering on the spine and a gilt design on the leather inlay. Book is in near fine condition with slight sunning to the spine. Slipcase is very good with a couple of marks and a bit of rubbing along the edges. Prospectus not included. A handsome copy of this gorgeous California fine press book. "And Suddenly, / There on the tall steps, above the sea of faces, / Friends and townspeople, my mind / Swept out beyond the city limit / To the little cemetery, the plot where / Redolent in the earth, my mother lay buried, and beside her / The naked hole that would take down my father, / Darkly glowing, a subsumed luster, / Numinous with the haunting infusion of death."
