Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is heavily dulled but remains bright on front. Stain on rear.

Gilt top edge. 237pp, h: 26cm. With 36 colour plates from watercolours by John W.G. Bond; map. Purbeck in Dorset; includes chapters on Swanage, Corfe, Lulworth and Studland. Clean, gilt bright, some small marks and general darkening, rubbed edges with small tears to top spine(1cm) and abrasions to corners. Some foxing to margins and edges, heavy foxing to prelims. Binding is slack at spine with splits, but gatherings & pages are still held. A Good copy.
