Limited Edition of 1000, Numbered: 339/1000. 112 loose sheets (title sheet, introduction, list of plates and 109 illustrations) in green coarse cloth portfolio with ribbon ties. There is a 2" closed tear to the bottom corner of the portfolio. The plates measure 13 1/2” x 17”. "The plates here are facsimiles of the drawings from the 1922 edition, printed by the Meriden Gravure Company, reproduced in the same size as the originals. Included in this edition are the seven original engravings which Blake completed that were not included in the 1922 edition. This edition represents only the second edition of one of Blake’s masterworks, limited here to 1100 copies, 1000 of which were for sale to the public, and 100 of which were for private distribution.” Contents clean and bright. Very minor bump corner to the front tip of the Folio. Colors and images are crisp and in very nice condition. A very nice copy of a scarce Limited Edition! Photos available upon request.
