Price: US$2497.68 + shipping

Description: First edition, first printing. Lublished by Grayson & Grayson in London, 1952. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper, finely illustrated by Mudge Marriott, has some general creasing at the edges and some slight closed tears. The spine tips are nicked and so slightly sunned. It has not been price clipped, showing the original price of '8/6 net'. The original publisher's boards are mostly free from chips and marks, but with one slight mark at the bottom edge. The text blocks are clean throughout, though possibly toned due to poor paper stock. This copy is free from inscriptions and is, overall, in very good condition. Becoming very scarce. A fixup collection made up of science fiction short stories by American writer Asimov. The stories originally appeared in the American magazines Super Science Stories and Astounding Science Fiction between 1940 and 1950
