Description: First UK edition, with dust wrapper. Black boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Board edges are lightly rubbed. Head and tail of spine bumped. Heavy discolouration and foxing of page edges, more so on the head edge. Binding is neat and tidy. Moderate signs of use on free endpapers and pastedowns. Pages throughout are browned and bear a darker halo at the edges. Else book is in good condition. Dustwrapper is rubbed and lightly stained. Back cover bears scratches and some scuff marks. Spine is sunned. Some creasing towards the edges and little discolouration, else in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
