Pages are toned throughout, especially up to p.20 and from p.389 to p.424. Stains to top outer edges of prelims, and to rear endpapers. Small tears at foot of title-page and at foot of plate opposite p.364. Old ink one-line inscription at head of front free endpaper. Bound in old full calf boards, worn at all extremities, with blind-stamped geometric design on each. Neatly rebacked, with new gilt lettering to spine. Overall in good condition for its age.
