Will Charles [pseudonym of Charles Willeford]. The Hombre from Sonora. Lenox Hill Press, New York, 1971.

Price: US$999.95 + shipping

Condition: Very Good

Description: Publisher's full green cloth with bright black lettering on the front board and spine; this hardcover binding is clean and solid with some cocking to the spine. This is a mildly ex-library copy with stamps and a card pocket confined to the pastedowns, as well as stamps on the outer page ends. There are also a few penned numerals on the title-page area, but the book's text is clean and unmarked. The dustjacket remains unclipped ($3.95) and is bright, attractive, and whole with only light surface wear; presents very well under fresh archival mylar. A nice copy in attractive jacket, less marred than usually found, of Willeford's existential Western, infused with his black humor and musings on the immobilized man. 192pp.
