Spine is evenly faded to brown and top edge is a bit foxed, otherwise a very good(+) copy, lacking the slipcase.

Description: Quarter brown morocco over grey paper boards' gilt title, rules and "G.P." imprint to spine, with raised bands, in original slipcase. Wood engravings by Lockwood, with tissue-guards, throughout. No. 140 of 150 copies, SIGNED by Lockwood, and inscribed to Ron Hayes, with congratulations, on limitation page. Slipcase shows some moderate edge-wear. Slightest scuffs to leather spine. Two tiny bookworm holes at upper edge of spine, with some attendant munching inside at endpaper fold. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat -- a sound and handsome copy. Size: 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall
