Price: US$1.00 + shipping

Condition: Very Good

Description: Harry Potter is lucky to reach the age of thirteen, since he has survived the murderous attacks of the feared Dark Wizard Voldemort three times. But his hopes for a quiet term concentrating on Quidditch are dashed when a maniacal mass-murderer escapes from Azkaban, pursued by the soul-sucking Dementors who guard the prison. It's assumed that Hogwarts is the safest place for Harry to be. But is it a coincidence that he can feel eyes watching him in the dark, and should he be taking Professor Trelawney's ghoulish predictions seriously? The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.

Description: A very nice clean and bright copy of the first impression paperback edition (as evident by the complete number line from 1 to 20 on the copy right page.) Looks hardly read, if at all, still tight like new. There is toning to the page block edge, as is common with these early Harry Potters. The front cover has three small dents in the centre, which show through on the inside of the cover and onto the title page. Not that noticeable but need to be mentioned here in the interest of clarity and fairness. The corners of the card covers are a little curled. In all a lovely copy.

Price: US$39.92 + shipping

Condition: Near Fine

Description: First impression of the 1st paperback edition in lovely once carefully read condition. No inscriptions and clean pages throughout. There is a little toning at the page block edge, as is pretty much always the case, but not that noticeable. There's some minor edge wear and curling at the corner tips of the card covers. These have been reinforced with a small square of selotape on the back cover and the bottom corner of the front cover. These could possibly be skilfully removed if desired but, since they are hardly noticeable, probably best left in place. In all this is a super copy of a book which is becoming ever scarce as a first impression of the children's cover design.
