Description: Most desirable volume in the Vale Shakespeare. Seen through the press by T. Sturge Moore, text and decorations by Charles Ricketts, printed at the Ballantyne Press. Large 8vo, green cloth with blind-stamped geometrical design by Ricketts, gilt lettering and decoration on spine, leaves uncut. Head and tail of spine bumped, small stain on front cover, nick in bottom edge of back cover. Internally flawless, partly unopened. Most scarce.

Moore’s Vale Press between 1900 and 1903 in 39 volumes. – Trace of a former ex libris on inner front board. A nice and clean copy in all.
