Description: Published in New York by Simon & Schuster in 1952. First Edition indicated by "A100100" on bottom corner of the front inside cover. Based on UPA (United Productions of America's) Academy Award Winning Motion Picture. A rare Seuss title that has no attribution to the author, but was nonetheless written by him. Book very good, except for wear at corners and ends of spine, imprint of writing on front cover and a scratch and some creasing on the back cover. Some separation of plastic from cardboard cover, especially at bottom of spine, where there is also a 1" tear of the outer layer where the spine joins the back cover. Inscription by previous owner on front inside cover.
