Description: Without pagination, nearly 400 pp. 4° (332x250mm), illus. and gilt O-Cloth Austin Osman Spare (1886-1956), British graphic artist, painter and magician. In 1907 Aleister Crowley became attentive to the artist and in 1910 Spare entered Crowley's Order "Astrum Argenteum". But two years later he seperated of it and was therefore titled as a black brother by Crowley. Only a few years later Crowley changed his mind and expressed an approving opinion about Spare's sigil-magic of Zos Kia. - A good copy.
