Description: Hardback, original red Hermitage calf with title-vignette of Euphrosyne stamped in blind on upper cover, by the Gregynog Bindery. 33pp, [1]. 11 wood engravings, including four full-page, by Blair Hughes-Stanton. Number 19 of 250 copies. A little rubbing to extremities, spine very slightly faded. Small mark on fore-margin of initial blank leaf and title page, otherwise clean.

Description: Illustrated with wood engravings by Blair Hughes-Stanton, No.84/250, 8vo., (265x175x14mm.), full reddish leather with blind stamped title, engraving and logo on front cover, blind titling on spine, 4 full page engravings, 7 smaller engravings including title page, designed and engraved by Hughes-Stanton, printed by William Mac Cance. Edges of covers and spine rubbed, although the lettering is clear. Internally very good, on Japanese Vellum paper.

Description: VG, 1933, Gregynog Ltd ed. One of 235 copies bound in deep red Hermitage calf blocked in blind on upper cover with the figure of Euphrosyne, titling and press device. Spine, tooled with blind lines. Internally, [2], 33 pp, [3], 11 wood engravings & book design by Blair Hughes-Stanton, text edited by Rev HC Beeching, covers each with 2 small marks, corners rubbed, neat inscription to fpd. (Folio, 170*258 mm). (Harrop 26). Technically Blair Hughes-Stanton was one of the most skilled of the 20th century wood engravers. A superb draughtsman, he developed an exceptionally fine white line technique which was so intricate that the best of his work could not be reproduced effectively in commercial printing.
