NOTO BENE: the DJ is "doubleday" with $2.95 price tag. On the internet another dealer remarked about this 'Hybrid' situation. Not clear why there is this oddity. In any case It appears to be a second state copy with a well-fitting but incorrect/hybrid DJ. The second book in the Foundation series which is a sci fi Hi Spot. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall

SIGNED by the author to an affixed bookplate to the front free paper. An outstanding copy of this seminal novel, the second in the Foundation series; uncommon in the first printing and in collectible condition, certainly enhanced with Asimov's signature. This copy is in near fine condition with a square, tight binding, sharp black lettering over red boards, and clean white pages throughout free from markings; the book does show some light rubbing to the boards and board edges, and some mild age-spotting to the free papers and pastedowns. Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows moderate sunning to the spine, some light rubbing and creasing to the spine ends, corners, and folds, and a couple of small rubs to the front panel.
