The book is intact, but it does show light cover soiling, and the paper spine is splitting up the middle on the bottom 2" (which can be easily reglued). Jan. 1892 and added below in author's handwriting is "For the Song's sake. Even so.". Soft cover, stiff cream decorative wrapper with silver title on front, with cream jacket with brown lettering on front. Good in good jacket. Front hinge is cracked and has been glued, 1972 dedication inscription to a poetry corner of a library in memory of poetry corner's namesake, no ex-library signs, library must have just sold the book instead of using it for patrons. Jacket has a closed tear 2" down from top front near spine and across spine at that point and is a little soiled.
