Beige cloth w/small lion illustration/lettering in gilt to front cover (unfortunately, the scan doesn't show them all that clearly), gilt spine lettering, 108 pages, 23 mainly full-page illustrations, folding map. This copy from the library of naturalist/writer Lieutenant-Commander Bruce S. Wright, and bears his embossed seal to top right corner of title page. Moderately soiled cloth, edgewear, bumped/worn corners/spine ends, sun-darkened spine, 1/2" slit to bottom right spine edge, 1" slit to top left spine edge, previous owner's name/date to front end paper, foxing to endpapers/pastedowns/map, general wear. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall

Publishers gilt decorated brown cloth with bevelled edges. Top and bottom of spine very slightly rubbed and frayed. some light rubbing and marked and a few light scuffs to the spine. Generally a very good solid copy. 108 p.
