Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, few marks, patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), numerous tears, creasing/rubbing to edges, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, patchy browning (including to spine), pushing/bumping to corners, little foxing, creasing/rubbing/browning to front/back inner flaps, is a little fragile and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with a little pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Little spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Small crease to lower corner of a few pages. Pages bit tanned. Odd mark/spots of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. Small bookseller's sticker inside back board. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Description: First edition, first printing The front boards are straight. The spine is slightly cocked. The front cover bottom right hand corner is slightly bumped. the bottom of the spine has a small fade. the rear board top and bottom left hand corners are creased. The front end paper has a long neat inscription. The internal pages are all bright and clean. Dust wrapper/ The front cover has a 6cm closed tear to the middle of the flap edge. There is a tear to the top right hand corner of approx 6cm.both faults have minor loss and have have been taped to the rear.The spine hinge is rubbed with a 1cm hole. There are small chips to all four corners.The spine has loss to the top and bottom edges. The back cover is a little grubby. All four corners have small chips.The front and rear flaps are good. Not price cut. The rear of the jacket is foxed.

There is a small ink mark to the back cover top edge.The text block is slightly foxed which has spread to the top margins of some of the pages, otherwise the pages are clean and bright. The binding is tight. No inscription Dust wrapper/The front cover has a 1.5 cm closed tear to the top edge. The top/bottom right hand corner have minor loss. The top of the spine has three 1 cm tears with creases in between, there is also a crease attached running along the top edge.The spine is creased top to bottom. The back cover has a 2.5cm tear running down the spine hinge with an additional 0.5 cm closed tear to the top edge. There is a small chip to the top/ bottom flap corners. Not price cut.
