Condition: Good

Description: Reproduction in exact facsimile of First Folio except for substantial larger size. 39 x 24 cm. Exact photo lithographic copy of original edition except the third leaf is a red and black modern title page. A 5 cm lower corner is missing from the first page with the poem. This is also true of the preceding blank pages. There is some dust soiling but the page block is tight and intact except for pages at the beginning and end which are all present. The book was bound in full leather with 5 raised bands on the spine and beautiful marbled paper, free ones now detached. Every page has been individually checked. Both boards are detached but present, the spine is attached but damaged Despite these serious flaws, this facsimile is excessively rare and with some (expensive) restoration would be very impressive and pleasant, possibly even exciting, to read. Unwrapped the book weighs 11.46 pounds, so extra shipping cost will be necessary depending on destination.
