Description: Limited Edition, Illustrated Holiday Edition. These are numbered 210 of 250 copies. Both volumes have 6 illustrations each including frontispiece, all with red-lettered tissue guards. Very book plus books in very good plus dust jackets. White cloth covered boards with gilt lettering and ornately decorated on front panels and spines. Upper edges are gilt. Side and lower edges are untrimmed and age- and perhaps soil-darkened. Boards are minimally soiled. Books are internally clean and text blocks are tight. Red cloth, paper-backed dust jackets with gilt lettering on spines. Jacket panels are lightly soiled overall but still very bright. Spines are sunned. Upper edge of back panel Vol I is creased and curled; upper edge at head of spine has small chips and tears. Upper edge at head of spine on Vol II is chipped and with a 1/4" closed vertical tear on the front corner. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition descriptions.
