Condition: Very Good

Description: Hand-printed limited edition of 100 copies, this is number 91. Red paper dust jacket with black lettering over plain beige wrappers. Dinkytown Antiquarian Books sticker on inside of back wrapper. Includes a facsimile printing of Faulkner's letter. While reading the novel "Pylon" by William Faulkner, Marjorie Lyons was struck by the main character never being referred to by name and sent a note to the author inquiring about that decision. Surprisingly, Faulkner responded with a brief letter in which he offered his thoughts on why it is better to love than to be loved. He ends the letter with a quote from one his other books, "Between grief and nothing, I will take grief."
