Description: 1st edition. A Very Good copy in a Good dust jacket. 8vo., 272 pp. Bound in publishers tan paper and black cloth over boards. Tan dust jacket has title, author and floral design in black and red. Dust jacket has some minor soiling, chips to the top of the spine and rear cover. Jacket is unclipped. Interior has previous owner signature on front end page but is otherwise unmarked. Dust Jacket now protected in mylar sleeve. Isaac Asimov ( January 2, 1920 - April 6, 1992) was an American writer and professor of biochemistry at Boston University. He was known for his works of science fiction and popular science. Asimov was a prolific writer who wrote or edited more than 500 books and an estimated 90,000 letters and postcards.

Minor, if not trivial wear to edges and head and heel of spine. Only trivial additional age/wear/previous use to book. Dust jacket has a 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch chip to top edge of front panel at spine; a 1/5 inch by 5/8 inch patch of light wear and two hairline creases to top edge of front panel near spine; 1/4 inch chips to head and heel of spine; a 3/4 inch mostly closed tear to lower edge of front panel at fore-edge fold; and minor additional signs of age/wear/previous use to edges, corners and extremities.
