Tissue guards with descriptive letterpress. There are areas of very faint moisture staining to the boards, and there are several small, dark stains on the backstrip. Internally, very clean. Complete, all plates present. In the paper cover box, with an illustrated paper label on the top of the box. The box is moderately soiled and abraded. Illustrated with lovely tipped-in color plates by E. J. Detmold. Charming and scientific stories of insect life.
