A play in three acts, including hitherto unpublished notes by the author, discovered after his death, and an introduction by Padraic Colum. Near Fine in Very good jacket. An article from the New York Times from August 1958 regarding a book on the artist written by Padraic and Mary Colum is laid in and has created a light offsetting on the ffep and the front flap of the jacket. Jacket has one chip at top front near spine head.

Otherwise unmarked, crisp, and tightly bound with minimal toning. Decorative EPs. Unclipped DJ ($5.00) is moderately sunned to the spine, but minimal edge wear, including one 1/2 " closed tear at front bottom spine fold. Otherwise clean and crisp with minimal soiling. Very nice.

Defined by Schroedinger's Tryst that takes place (or doesn't?) between acts 2 and 3, EXILES "has the shape of an Ibsen play [.] with clearly defined form it has sparseness and significance of dialogue" (introduction). Though it received little attention when it was first published and staged, a 1970 London revival reinvigorated interest in the play. This is a particularly nice copy. 9.25'' x 6''.
