Front cover has eyes peering from darkness on a woman laying in bed exposed looking provocative which was very risque for the 1920's. This copyright date says 1897 however this is a 1931 GROSSET, DUNLAP EDITION. FULL LENGTH PICTURE OF Lugosi on rear of dust jacket who starred in movie Dracula released in 1931. The film was directed by Tod Browning which made Bela Lugosi an international star and the most famous cinematic vampire of all time. Very good in a very good bright dust jacket.
