Description: FIRST HUGO WINNING TITLE IN AN ADVANCE ISSUE DOUBLE STAR, Michael Joseph, 1958, first English edition, vg+ in wraps. Uncorrected proof. The authors first of four HUGO winning novels. Indeed, only the second advance issue I've ever seen offered of any of the authors four HUGO winning titles, the galleys for THE MOON IS A HARSH MISTRESS appearing in another dealers catalogue in 1982). Authors signature laid in. Housed in a specially made custom tray-case. Rare.
