Description: Quarter beige cloth gilt with blue paste-paper covered boards gilt, large 8vo., (72) pages, illustrated with woodcuts by Fritz Kredel. One of 350 copies designed by Victor Hammer, printed by Jacob Hammer in red and black from Jessen and Civilite type on thick Apta paper, and bound by Elizabeth Kner. This copy is presented to James L. Cate, and signed by 39 members of the Caxton Club on the FFEP. Among those signing are H. Richard Archer, James M. Wells, James Hayes and Gaylord Donelley. Trace of wear to the lower tips, else a fine copy in archival mylar.

Description: Limited Edition of 350. 16.2 x 26 cm cream linen backed blue paper covered boards with a pitchfork vignette to the front and titles to the spine. Top edge gilt other edges uncut. Unpaginated with text in black and red and illustrated with woodcuts by Fritz Kredel. There is some toning to the spine and a little rubbing to the edges and boards most evidently at the corners. Internally, without name, inscription or bookplate and just the occasional spotting, mainly to the prelims and uncut edges. All in all a very good plus copy with some lovely woodcut illustrations.
