Description: Two volumes uniformly bound in full contemporary calf with restored titles and spines. Firm and solid, no splits. Size 8vo (200mm x 130mm). Contents age toned and occasionally spotted nonetheless still in very good shape. Note: the endpaper shows pencil notes, a the former owner signature and bookplates of Eric Gerald Stanley. Complete with 54 folding engraved plates, which are slightly darkened but essentially sound save some edge wear and two or three repaired tears. Withal a very scarce work in satisfactory condition offered for sale at reasonable price.
